Lymphatic Drainage Therapy with the Chikly Health Institute
Levels 1 to Advanced

Colleen has taken levels one to four and is skilled in giving Lymphatic Drainage to eyes, ears, bones, muscles, digestive organs, lungs, endocrine glands, and brain.  She is also able to feel your personal lymphatic fluid flow patterns.  Lymphatic Drainage helps to improve the immune system, balance hormones, reduce inflammation, enhance digestion, decrease sinus congestion, and relax the nervous system which then decreases pain. Light rhythmical pressure is applied to the body in order to move the lymphatic fluid.

Craniosacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute
Levels 1 & 2

This therapy helps to realign the fascia and skeleton with very gentle joint mobilizations. It calms the nervous system, relieves headaches, and assists with recovery from accidents (ie. car, falls, various traumas).

Applied Tensegrity with Marjorie Haynes, R.M.T.
Levels 1 to 3

This is a technique that assists the release of the fascia. It can improve digestion, respiration, immunity, hormonal balance, overall physical mobility and realign one’s posture.

Paul St. John Neuromuscular Therapy
Levels 1 to 5

Neuromuscular Therapy relieves pain by releasing trigger points located in the muscles.  For instance, a trigger point in the sternocleidomastoid muscle(located in the neck) can refer pain to the forehead causing a headache.  It also improves posture by addressing musculoskeletal imbalances. Certain Neuromuscluar Therapy techniques can help to relieve eye strain and jaw pain.

Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy with Armand Ayaltin, R.M.T.

Systemic Deep Tissue Therapy uses specific assessment and manual techniques to address key compensation points and structural deviations in the body which can cause acute or chronic pain.

BodyTalk with the International BodyTalk Association
Modules 1 to 9

BodyTalk synchronizes the brain, heart and body to work as one unit.  Colleen uses the BodyTalk Method to assist tight muscle tissue to relax by linking it to the heart and brain.

Brain Work with the Chikly Health Institute
Levels 1 to 3

Colleen’s most recent studies involve learning how to gently work on the spinal cord, specific structures of the brain (ie. internal ear structures, motor cortex, hypothalmus, etc.), and nervous system (ie. paravertebral ganglion, celiac ganglion, etc.). Clients have experienced greater mental clarity, relief from headaches, and an extremely deep sense of relaxation when they were treated with these techniques.   Colleen is passionate about brain work and is excited to continue her research into this fascinating field.
