In his teenage years, Luc discovered that he could relieve headaches and abdominal pains by simply putting his hand on the problem area. This made him feel the calling to go into healthcare and dedicate his life to help other people with their pains. He started this path by doing massage, and Reiki courses, and soon after enrolled in a Bachelor of Physiotherapy program in The Netherlands. After successfully obtaining his degree, he moved to China to be the first international student to acquire the Master of Manipulative Physiotherapy degree at the Polytechnic University of Hong Kong.

After his graduation he picked up his physiotherapy career in Singapore, where he treated a wide variety of patients, and became the personal therapist of players of the National Singaporean football team, and an Olympic marathon runner. He also taught Manual Therapy to physiotherapists, PhD students, and medical doctors in Beijing.

After several years of working along a group of talented physios, he decided to broaden his holistic knowledge and moved to Canada to study Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture at the ICTCM in Vancouver.

In the past 3 years, Luc has been working as a physiotherapist, massage therapist, and acupuncturist, and is in the end-stage of learning the osteopathic Visceral Manipulation techniques, and the acupuncture balancing method technique.

His patients describe him as caring, warm hearted, and giving. A treatment with Luc contains a hands-on approach, where acupuncture, joint mobilizations, deep tissue massage, acupressure, personal advice, and exercises are combined. Due to his extended education in the Musculoskeletal system, he is capable of helping you with many forms of joint, muscle, and nerve pains. He tries to find the links between pain, muscular imbalances, and connections with the internal organs.
